Steve is an independent consultant who functions as an ad hoc advisor to Tinsley Park Partners. Steve’s experience includes 15 years with the private equity firm, Hastings Equity Partners. While at Hastings, Steve served as the CFO for two Hastings portfolio companies, Seacon Phoenix and Taylored Services. Following the sale of Taylored Services in 2012 and until his retirement in 2019, Steve performed due diligence and served as an interim finance leader for numerous portfolio companies, helping to transition acquired businesses from owner-operated to private equity backed. Prior to Hastings, Steve spent 11 years with Contact East/Stanley Supply during which he served as CFO and Vice President of Business Development. Following the company’s acquisition by the large private equity investor, Advent International in 1998, Steve completed four strategic add-ons in two years, doubling the size of the business and ultimately resulting in the sale of the company to The Stanley Works in 2001. Steve holds an MBA from Bentley College and an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
