HUGH CARSPECKEN | OPERATING PARTNER

Hugh Carspecken is an Operating Partner at Tinsley Park Partners and a senior technology and digital infrastructure executive with nearly 30 years of experience building and scaling companies across data centers, fiber, cellular, and AI-driven compute infrastructure.

He began his career at GTE (later Verizon), engineering and deploying metro fiber and cellular networks, and went on to help build and scale several Silicon Valley companies through successful exits, including ONI Systems (acquired by Ciena) and FiberTower (acquired by AT&T). He later held a senior leadership role at Fujitsu Network Communications, where he built and led a multi-technology infrastructure solutions platform.

He is the founder of DartPoints, an edge data center platform launched in 2012 and successfully exited in 2020, and is considered an early pioneer in distributed data center infrastructure. He later founded NewStage Ventures, focusing on power, energy, and digital infrastructure, and currently serves as Managing Partner across multiple platforms developing powered land and mission-critical infrastructure across the U.S. and LATAM.

Hugh holds an A.B. and B.E in Engineering from Dartmouth College and a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from the Thayer School of Engineering and Tuck School of Business.
